Goal: To effectively train officers in the use of impact weapons through exercise, role playing and on hand testing.  Students will demonstrate the proper use of police batons. Students will also recognize the laws which govern their privilege to carry batons in the course of their duties and the art of using the police baton as a defensive impact weapon. Upon completion of this course, students will receive a certification issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) and certification by the instructor with specific baton authorization.

Cancellation Policy:  There are no refunds for class tuition or registration deposits.  All fees will be utilized for the purchase of materials and classroom reservations.  If you cancel your scheduled class you have 30 days to register and complete your desired training course.  Failure to attend and complete your course within 60 days of the original scheduled date will result in the forfeiture of your tuition credit.
