Objective: During this 8 hr. course, you will participate in all exercises including but not limited to exposure to OC spray. Through lectures, role-playing, decontamination and exposure to
OC, you will document the effects of OC after being exposed.
Using an Inert Training Unit, you will have an opportunity to study 3 different types of spray patterns. After exposure to OC spray you will participate in the decontamination process. You will demonstrate your proficiency in
OC, documentation and decontamination through written, oral and practical exams at the end of this course.

Note: To carry OC spray in the course of your duties, all security & law enforcement officers must complete a P.O.S.T certified course. Pursuant to California Penal Code Section
12403.
Cancellation Policy:
There
are no refunds for class tuition or registration
deposits. All fees will be utilized for the
purchase of materials and classroom reservations.
If you cancel your scheduled class you have 30 days
to register and complete your desired training
course. Failure to attend and complete your
course within 60 days of the original scheduled date
will result in the forfeiture of your tuition. |
